He does not believe that homosexuality violates Torah and is compatible with Jewish principles. He is a respected rabbi and well-liked by many. It is unclear how Rabbi Goldstein came to have such views, but they may be of interest to a wider audience.
Rabbi Goldstein was raised at Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue, where he studied with his father, the rabbi of the ark synagogue for over 40 years. The Goldsteins later went on to found the Kadimah Summer School and ordained Aaron in 1999. He spent a gap year in Israel as a volunteer for LJY-NETZER and was active in the synagogue’s choir.
