  1. I am a student at Walden University. The university never had any intensions of giving me a doctorate degree. I have sent money and wasted time for nothing.

  2. I too am a female student at Walden trying to finish my masters in FNP. I live in Hawai’i, and I have two practicums left to complete before I can graduate . It is extremely difficult to find practicum sites in Hawai’i, especially when the prospective preceptor discovers I am a Walden student. The university claims they offer support but there is absolutely no support. They don’t have a site for me to take my drug test, and I had to call Castle Branch and email them several times. They promised to send me a chain of custody paper in the mail, which never came. Today, Walden closed my application after it took me a year to find a site because the drug test is not complete yet. I have had constant contact with them letting them know what’s happening every step of the way. I have had to skip a semester in between each practicum because I cannot find sites. It’s ridiculous. I’ve spent over $50,000 in student loans when I was told it would cost much less.
Then there’s the fact they only have ONE person ” professor ” for two of the practicum class portions. Who knows, she probably teaches the last two too! She’s a whole other can of worms to deal with.

Do not go to this school. They don’t care about you, and they just want your money.

  3. I spent almost an entire Quarter to get my DNP project read and ran out of money trying to complete the project. I still do not have my DNP nor money to complete another Quarter at this point and I need to complete my DNP for my job.
